Akchhaya vata ashram is abt 1 km away from city toward village gulam kayumkha badagaon. There is akchhaya vat tree about which it is believed that word 'RAM' in devnagiri script is embraced naturally. A swayambhu hanuman temple is situated in the ashram. In ashram every tuesday a lot of pilgrimage/devotees visit ashram. There is celebrated holica ashtami in the form of a fair in ashram premises every year and people gathered in good strength. The place is 63 km away from kanpur central railway station which is well connected with the major cities of India and nearest railway station is jhinjhak from which ashram is merely 2 km away. The place may visited at any time however, the best time for visit is month february to april.
