Gautam Buddha Nagar is an administrative district of Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. NOIDA is the administrative headquarters of the district. The district forms a part of Meerut division. District Gautam Buddh Nagar includes Dadri, Noida and Greater Noida from Ghaziabad and Tehsil Sikandrabad and part of Khurja from Bulandshahar. The district is bounded by Ghaziabad District to the north, Bulandshahr District to the east, and Aligarh District to the south.

Gautam Buddh Nagar district has been newly formed vide Government Notification No.1249/1 -5/97 /82 /97- R.A. -5 dated 06-05-1997 by combining block Dadri (Parental  district Ghaziabad ) &  Bisrakh  and block Dankaur ,Jewar & partial area of block Sikandrabad (Parental district Bulandshahar ).Gautam Buddh Nagar is an important industrial district of Uttar Pradesh situated in National Capital Region (N.C.R.) spread over area of 1456 sq.km.At present ,the district has three tehsil (Dadri ,Jewar and Sadar ) and four blocks namely Bisrakh, Dadri ,Dankaur and Jewar;. In addition ,it has one Nagar Palika ,6 Nagar Panchayat and 17 Police Station.

By Air : IGI airport (New Delhi) is 35 km. drive from Noida.

By Rail : New Delhi railway station is 15 km. drive from Noida.

By Road : Noida is well connected by roads with rest of Uttar Pradesh and its neighboring states.
